About CSI

Component Systems, Inc. is a company that designs, fabricates, and delivers quality products. We specialize in wood roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels for bulk construction and for custom homes. We supply engineered wood products (LVL, I-Joist, Gluelams, PSL, and LSL), Simpson & USP Hangers and Hardware, loose material, and sheeting. Our office and plant run on an integrated networked software allowing easy flow from estimating to design to the computers on our production lines. We have been in business for four years. We are constantly growing and expanding our business and services to meet our customer's needs. We are located in Eleroy just east of Freeport and do business in the Northern Part of the Midwest. We cover a radius of approximately 150 miles from Eleroy which covers the whole Chicagoland Area, Rockford, Madison, Milwaukee, Quad Cities, and Peoria. We offer job estimating, component design and computerized testing, fabrication, and job-site delivery.

History

Wall Panels and Trusses have been maufactured at the Eleroy, IL location since the early 1970's. The truss portion was started by a lumber company to supply manufactured trusses to their lumber yards. The wall panel maufacturing was started by a framing contractor/home builder who wanted a better and more efficient way of framing walls. The two portions merged into one organization in the mid 1980's and most recently became CSI in April of 2002.
